AstroViz Community Meetup: Sept 2023

When making astronomy visualizations, how does one balance the need for accuracy against the desire to make aesthetically powerful imagery that reaches a wide audience? Our panel explores many aspects of that challenge from their personal perspectives as scientists, artists, and animators in this first recorded virtual event from the AstroViz community.

After the panel discussion, two short talks explore VR astronomy experiences, and interactive NASA visualization resources.
