"Discover Exoplanets: The Search for Alien Worlds," a free NASA exhibit, brings the excitement of exoplanets and NASA’s Universe of Learning to communities by providing local organizations with physical resources and an ongoing relationship with NASA. The national traveling exhibition explores space and astronomy, covering topics such as the search for habitable worlds beyond our Solar System, how NASA scientists are searching for these worlds, and how they may be like our own.
The exhibit features hands-on, multimedia activities where visitors can build their own solar systems, see the most recent NASA discoveries, and learn about whether popular TV and movies are fact or fiction. Host sites are also required to hold at least 10 public programs for a range of audiences.
Nine competitively selected public libraries will host "Discover Exoplanets" for three months each, from June 2023 to December 2025.
