ViewSpace Interactives: Black Holes
About Educational Resource
A black hole is a region of space packed with so much mass that its own gravity prevents anything from breaking away. Although we can’t see a black hole, telescopes can observe the material around it. Explore what we know about black holes by clicking through a progression of images to learn about Sagittarius A*, the supermassive black hole at the center of our Milky Way galaxy, and the one at the center of galaxy Centaurus A.
Are you interested in setting up ViewSpace in your museum, library, or other informal learning venue?
