ViewSpace Interactives: Detecting Other Worlds
About Educational Resource
Scientists have detected thousands of exoplanets: planets orbiting stars other than the Sun. We have seen only a few exoplanets directly, but we can detect them by measuring the effects they have on the stars they orbit. Understand the techniques scientists use to learn about these distant worlds by clicking through a progression of stops featuring HAT-P-7 b and the exoplanets orbiting star HR 8799.
