ViewSpace Interactives: Seeing Farther
About Educational Resource
By observing at the same area of the sky for extended periods, space-based telescopes have the ability to capture faint light that left distant objects in the universe billions of years ago, but is only now arriving at Earth. Known as deep fields, these four-dimensional observations allow researchers to study the makeup of the early universe and learn how galaxies change over time. Stare deeply into views of Chandra Deep Field-South and the historic Hubble Ultra Deep Field in these interactives.
Are you interested in setting up ViewSpace in your museum, library, or other informal learning venue? Our interactives and individual videos may be accessed by anyone; however, for informal learning venues that would like to present the ViewSpace looping video collection to the public, please request a free account.
