Thank you for your interest in volunteering your expertise to support NASA’s Universe of Learning activities and events! Please follow the directions below to register and detail your areas of expertise. If you have any questions or need assistance, please email: info@universe-of-learning.org
Volunteer Account Setup Instructions
Step 1: Access the Database
Navigate to the MyST Database
If you already have an account, please click Registered User and log in.
If you do not, click please Create and follow the directions.
Step 2: Update Your Account
Once you are logged in, click the Update button.
Step 3: Account Information
Your screen should look similar to this one.
Navigate to the Outreach Interests tab.
Step 4: Outreach Interests
Read the NASA Volunteer Opportunity section. If you wish to participate in outreach opportunities, please click the blue button, which will refresh your screen.
Step 5: Opportunities & Experience
Select the outreach opportunities that you would like to participate in.
Please also provide information about your background, particularly any experience with NASA, and any astrophysics missions you have supported and are comfortable talking about.
Your selections will automatically save.
Step 6: Congratulations
You have registered.
Before you go, please also select your areas of scientific expertise from the keywords listed so we can pair you with appropriate opportunities.
